Application

Dimethyl sulfoxide is widely used as solvent and reaction reagent, especially in acrylonitrile polymerization, as processing solvent and spinning solvent, as polyurethane synthesis and spinning solvent, as synthetic solvent of polyamide, polyimide and polysulfone resin, as well as aromatic hydrocarbon and butadiene extraction solvent and solvent for synthesis of chlorofluoroaniline.
DMSO is dimethyl sulfoxide, which is widely used. It is used as solvent for acetylene, aromatics, sulfur dioxide and other gases and spinning solvent for acrylic fiber. It is a very important aprotic polar solvent that is soluble in both water and organic solvents. It has strong permeability to the skin and is conducive to the penetration of drugs into the human body. It can also be used as an additive of pesticides. It is also a very important chemical reagent.
DMSO is also a permeable protective agent, which can reduce the freezing point of cells, reduce the formation of ice crystals, reduce the damage of free radicals to cells, and change the permeability of biofilm to electrolytes, drugs, poisons and metabolites.
